Purpose Projects: Enys Gardens
As a Certified B Corp, supporting local businesses is something that’s very important to the Kingdom & Sparrow team. Every year we take on a local client that sits outside our wheelhouse of food and drinks branding and packaging, to create purposeful work that contributes to our local community. In 2024, we worked with Soul Farm ahead of their Community Shares crowdfunding campaign to help them expand and meet the demand for local food grown using ecological principles.
This year, we were delighted to be approached by Enys Gardens to design them a new brand that is both deeply rooted in their rich heritage, yet crafted to help them create a sustainable future.

Enys Gardens is one of Cornwall’s hidden gems, with a history stretching back over 800 years. Left abandoned for six decades before restoration efforts began in 2010, the gardens have since flourished into a beloved community space, hosting events ranging from antiques fairs and theatre performances, to the iconic bluebell trails and intimate weddings.

The Enys team’s vision for the rebrand was clear: to celebrate the Gardens’ wild beauty and rich history while creating an identity that would support growth for years to come. We knew this was an opportunity to craft something truly special.
The heart of the new identity is a delicately illustrated ‘E’, interwoven with flora and fauna that can be found throughout the gardens. This emblem encapsulates the untamed charm of Enys while offering a strong visual anchor for the brand.

The colour palette draws directly from Enys’ unique landscape; soft blues inspired by the famous bluebells, deep greens from moss and ferns, and the earthy hues of lichen, stone, and slate. Every element of the rebrand was designed to feel organic and timeless, ensuring a seamless integration into the natural surroundings.
Beyond the emblem and colour scheme, the rebrand extends into various touchpoints across Enys Gardens. New signage enhances the visitor experience, while a beautifully crafted wedding brochure captures the romance of tying the knot in such a breathtaking location. Our goal was not only to refresh the look of Enys but also to create assets that would support its continued success.
“Kingdom & Sparrow have done an exceptional job, truly understanding the essence of the garden and capturing its ambiance brilliantly in the brand. The outcome has exceeded my expectations, and I feel immensely proud to have this as our branding and logo.”
Danni Dixon, Enys Gardens.

“It’s a relief that their team truly understood our business. We wanted a look that wasn’t overly flashy, reflecting our authentic nature, while signalling to people that we are open and steadily growing.”
Emma Powell-Thomas, Enys Gardens.
With its refreshed identity, Enys Gardens is poised to welcome visitors, couples, and the local community into an exciting new chapter. The team at Enys have embraced the rebrand wholeheartedly, seeing it as a natural evolution of their much-loved space.
