At the forefront of the gin revolution: Curio Craft Spirits
The Challenge
Curio launched in 2014 as gin and craft spirits were beginning to gain popularity in the UK, so from the offset it was critical to set them apart in a fast-growing market.
The Process
We decided to bring distinctive ingredients and flavours to centre stage, with a brand name that evokes curious taste, and hand-painted botanical illustrations.
These illustrations have stood the test of time – but as Curio grew, the brand needed to work harder to appeal to discerning consumers. In 2019 we worked with them on a brand refresh, including a bespoke, premium bottle design and more sustainable packaging, taking them from small-batch Cornish distiller to nationally-loved, luxury spirits brand.
