We worked with Rick Stein to design packaging and labels for their portfolio of specially selected wines. Each wine needed a unique personality, whilst capturing the quality, provenance and celebration of food and drink that’s a given for the Rick Stein brand.
The Process
We wanted to create an overall ‘artisan but premium’ look for the wines, to fit with the brand’s renowned seafood restaurants and Rick Stein’s hands-on style and approach as a chef.
For the white burgundy we focused on the seafood pairing and Cornish experience, with playful, hand-drawn mackerel illustrations. For the Spanish wines, a Garnacha and a Veredjo, we took inspiration from the terrain and climate of the vineyards, combining minimalist illustrations, rich textures and gold foil details, for an elegant design with a natural feel.
