The blue health pioneer
MOMENT OF CHANGE
Sea Sanctuary is a Cornwall-based blue health charity focusing on the benefits of open water spaces and therapeutic programmes for mental health and emotional wellbeing.
One of the immediate challenges facing Sea Sanctuary was the disparity between their branding and the pioneering exploration into blue health. They also needed the brand tools to tell their story effectively and showcase their trailblazing approach to therapy.
A further challenge was to update the visual brand and key brand messages to create a presence that balances professionalism and trustworthiness with the warm and personable, appealing to both the corporate investors and commissioners, as well as the clients themselves.

WE DELIVERED
A new identity and updated branding suite to reflect their pioneering work within the blue health space and also bring clarity to the support they offer.
We moved the original branding, with its marine sailing school connotations, more towards their supportive mental health offerings through hierarchy, brand structure and illustrative graphics.
We did this not to diminish the benefits of the sailing but to advocate it as a powerful tool within a therapy-based programme.

Sea Sanctuary is a mental health charity with a blue health philosophy, and our work with them aims to address their needs, from funding to accessibility, to influencing positive emotional and mental well-being.
Inspired by their innovative approach to therapy we offered Sea Sanctuary a fully-funded pro bono rebrand as our chosen charity of 2021.
Working alongside Solve Web Media to bring to live their new website using the developed new visual identity was a great collaboration between our two award-winning B Corp certified agencies.
