Wild Lady Eggs: Premium branding for exceptional eggs
Wild Lady Eggs is a premium egg brand aimed at a discerning food shopper who values food provenance, animal welfare, and sustainability. They approached us to design and create a unique brand and packaging design that needed to stand out on farm shop shelves as luxurious, and a ‘wildly’ different offering to the locally produced eggs already available.
At the core of the brand are the Wild Lady hens, free-roaming in a woodland environment. These happy hens produce truly luxurious eggs, recognisable by their beautiful speckled and dark shells and rich, deep yolks.

We crafted a brand identity that captures the magic and provenance of the woodland setting by creating a unique, illustrative brand emblem depicting a folkloric ‘woodland nymph’ style woman holding hands with a hand-drawn chicken, subtly framed in an egg shape. The surrounding text, “Wild Lady – Exceptional Eggs,” cements the premium positioning.
The illustrations are detailed and folkloric, giving the woman and the chicken character and a sense of natural charm. A secondary illustration features the woman floating whimsically on a feather while cradling an egg. The rich, natural colour palette is evocative of the earthy woodland floor where the hens roam, reinforced by an illustrated background of chicken footprints, leaves, and eggs.
The product experience is elevated with bespoke, premium boxes for both 6 and 10 eggs. A unique structural design was created by Blackmore Printers, creating a beautiful box that is constructed from one flat sheet and nestles the eggs in a uniquely shaped interior, which not only supports the eggs but presents them beautifully in a setting that mimics the woodland floor itself. The illustrative logo is gold foiled on the box top for premium shelf appeal.
Each egg is marked with a bespoke stamp featuring an oak leaf, further linking the product to its natural, woodland origins.
