We needed to engage with people on an emotional level; this isn’t about the design, engineering or sustainability credentials – this is about making your life better by being simpler.

Positive Change
We wanted to create a brand that felt really joyful. As much as the solution is rooted in great design and focussed on sustainability, we wanted people to buy Bottlecup because they LOVED the brand not because they felt they should.
We didn’t want to weigh people down with lots of technical messaging or facts about the number of single-use cups going into landfill. This needed to be a positive purchase to make their own lives simpler… and just happened to be the right choice for planet too.
To that end, we created a range of graphical and illustrative assets to build a friendly, simple way of communicating the product benefits. We developed a bold, uplifting colour palette that felt really positive, confident and joyful.
We also directed product photography, making it easy for people to understand the product usability and innovation. This was balanced with lifestyle photography, showing our consumer in everyday moments, to highlight the accessibility and simplicity of Bottlecup.
